Was in downtown Jersey City and decided to stop by City Diner for a delicious, filling and reliable breakfast. Since it was a Friday morning, it was slightly packed but we were able to be sat within a few minutes. The service has always been friendly and quick whenever I visit.

For the main meals this day, I ordered the Veggie Omelet with home fries and a toasted bagel and my boyfriend got the 2 Eggs Any Style (scrambled w/ cheddar cheese) with bacon, sausage and a fruit salad.

The food came out hot & fast and was delicious. We were in and out the diner within the hour and were full enough to tackle on the rest of our day. I'd recommend stopping City Diner during their off-peak hours- because they can get very busy! Overall, I find myself to be a satisfied customer whenever I stop by for a quick breakfast or late-night dinner.
