Anejo Tribeca

301 Church St New York, NY 10013

Stopped by Añejo for a family brunch and was definitely NOT disappointed!

We arrived right at opening and were immediately sat. The restaurant has both indoor & outdoor seating, but we opted in for outdoor since it was a beautiful day. To start, the restaurant provides Coconut French Toast (thick cut brioche, maple syrup, berries, powdered sugar) to share and a nice serving of guacamole and spiced chips- which is included in the brunch price. We also put in our drink order and started with the classic margaritas.

The French toast was delicious & flavorful and paired well with the sweet berries and maple syrup. The guacamole was very fresh and had a nice kick to it. They were certainly great starters!

For my main meal, I went with the Huevos Rancheros w/ Breakfast Potatoes (black bean and Oaxaca cheese quesadilla, fried egg, chipotle sofrito, pico de gallo) And a Rosé Sangria to enjoy with my meal. The Huevos Rancheros were pretty good and very filling! Especially since it was paired with crispy breakfast potatoes and a nice mixed salad for added freshness.

My waitress was also very attentive and ensured that the meal would be vegetarian and made without chorizo! She also made sure that our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. I definitely felt those drinks by the end of the meal so it was worth every dollar! I highly recommend the margaritas and rosé sangria!!!

If you're ever looking for a solid brunch spot with a great value in the city, definitely check out Añejo!
