My Favorite Brunch Spot in Brooklyn!

I've been on the search for some good local comfort food and I am so happy I came across Peaches!

My boyfriend and I arrived around 1:30pm on a weekday and immediately noticed the outdoor dining area and individual huts. After a little bit of confusion, we were able to figure out that you have to place your order inside before being seated. I felt a little indifferent about this operation since the indoor area is small and can get crowded, but the line moved pretty quickly.

We decided to sit on the outdoor patio area since the huts seemed a little too small for tall people. We also received a sign so the staff could recognize our table and we were quickly given our waters and drinks while we waited for our meals.

The staff were kind and wearing masks, so we felt comfortable with our stay so far.

FOOD & DRINKS:

BROWNSTONE PUNCH: 5/5.

After reading great reviews about the Brownstone Punch, we ordered two 16oz bottles and it's certainly a MUST if you're looking for a delicious and strong drink!! You could definitely taste the liquor but the tropical flavors balanced everything beautifully. The 16oz is also more than enough to feel a nice buzz!

GRANOLA CRUSTED FRENCH TOAST: 4/5.

For the meal portion, I went with the Granola Crusted French Toast w/ a side of Brunch Potatoes and my boyfriend ordered the Steak & Eggs from the All-Day Brunch Menu. The French toast came with Fresh Berries & Warm Maple Syrup and was absolutely delicious. I loved the texture of the granola in contrast to the soft inside of the French toast. The fresh berries added a nice tartness and the maple syrup was a wonderful sweet additional that complimented the meal. Would highly recommend!

STEAK & EGGS: 5/5. BRUNCH POTATOES: 4/5.

My boyfriend RAVED about his meal and truly enjoyed every minute of it. He requested that his eggs be scrambled with Cheddar cheese and they were cooked to perfection. I tried some of his eggs and would definitely order them next time! My boyfriend also enjoyed his steak, stating that it was tender and flavorful. He's also not a fan of onions and vegetables so he also liked the Brunch Potatoes because they were simple and crispy.

All in all, our experience at Peaches was great and we will certainly be back very soon! Very excited to try new things on the menu with a side of that Brownstone Punch!
