As a NJ native, I am very picky with my diners but I did have a good experience visiting Honey Bee Diner. Whilst visiting family in Maryland, we decided to eat here for breakfast/brunch before heading back on the road. When we arrived, the diner was pretty busy and the parking was packed but our wait for a table of 6 (plus 2 children) was about 10 minutes-so not too bad. Our booth was kind of snug, but we all squeezed in and were ready to order. Our waitress Peggy was incredibly kind and attentive to our large table.

For my meal, I went with the Strawberry Crepes, which came with fresh strawberries, strawberry syrup and homemade whipped cream, and a side of home fries with onions. I also ordered an orange juice to wash it all down and was happy that there was no pulp in it. My boyfriend decided to go with the French Toast with a side of bacon for his meal.

All of our food came out fresh & hot and we were all pleased with our meals. The crepes were pretty good and they put the perfect amount of whipped cream on top! My favorite thing from my meal were the home fries because they were crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. The caramelized onions on the side were delicious and I made sure to add Tabasco and Ketchup (if you know, you know).

Overall, I enjoyed my time & meal at Honey Bee Diner and would definitely be down to go again next time I'm over for Maryland. The staff were very kind, the food came out fresh & hot and the cute interior took me back in time. If you're near Glen Burnie and are in the mood for some diner food, Honey Bee Diner is a solid option!
