Everytime I visit family down in Florida, we always stop by KeKe's for breakfast- so it's definitely a go-to spot!

KeKe's is a Floridian staple, especially on the weekends, so we expected to have to wait a little over an hour for a table on a Saturday morning. KeKe's currently does not offer reservations so we understood the wait and the staff were friendly about it. Definitely try to get there as early as possible to put down your name.

Now onto the food!

FOOD:

For my order, I decided to go with the Poached Eggs Florentine (served on an English muffin and topped with Hollandaise sauce & paprika w/ tomato, spinach and Home Fries) and a side of Silver Dollar Pancakes to share with my sister.

The food came out within a decent amount of time and everything was fresh out the kitchen! I was very impressed with my Eggs Florentine and glad that I went with this option. The poached egg was perfectly runny and paired well with the fresh spinach and the sweetness from the tomato. The English muffin was nicely buttered and toasted and added substance to the dish. Lastly, the home fries were flavorful and I recommend requesting them to cook the potatoes extra crispy because it was perfection!

As for the silver dollar pancakes, they were also delicious and were the perfect size to satisfy any sweet tooth without having to order a big stack!

All in all, KeKe's Breakfast Cafe offered friendly service and delicious & reliable food. Next time I head down to Florida, I will certainly be stopping by one of their locations!
