Recently stopped by El Aguila Dorada for a sister-date and had another great experience! As a Bayonne local, El Aguila is truly a reliable spot with excellent Mexican food & music.

FOOD:

Nachos- For our appetizer, we enjoyed a huge plates of nachos with a bunch of toppings. They were delicious and had a lot of cheese. I would recommend going with nachos or the Guacamole appetizer!! 4/5.

Fajitas- For my meal, I ordered the Vegetable Fajitas and was met with a massive sizzling plate and a side of rice with refried beans! Definitely go with the fajitas if you're looking for a lot of food and like to put on toppings yourself. It comes with a side of 5 flour tortillas, sour cream, guacamole, pico & cheese, as well. The vegetables were very flavorful and I had more than enough for leftovers! 5/5.

DRINKS:

Margaritas- If you drink, you cannot visit El Aguila Dorada without ordering one of their margaritas. I personally prefer the Mango flavor on the rocks, but they have many options! You can also choose salt, sugar or tajín for the rim of your cup. They're always strong and have a great flavor!! 5/5.

Mojito- I decided to switch it up and go with a Pineapple Mojito and I was not disappointed. Very fresh & delicious. Would highly recommend if you're looking for something less strong to drink that is complimentary to your meal! 4/5.
